Lake Bonavista Community Association offers a variety of programs for adults, youth, children and preschoolers right in the heart of Lake Bonavista.
Registration can be done online. Many programs have a member discount. When you register for a program online, you must purchase your membership first, or the system will not allow you to register for the course. Memberships are non-refundable. Full payment must accompany registration in the form of cash, debit, VISA or MasterCard. LBCA no longer accepts cheques for registration fees.
LBCA is home to the Lake Bonavista Breakers. You must live in the following communities to play with the Breakers:
Lake Bonavista, Bonavista Downs, Parkland, Deer Run, Deer Ridge, Diamond Cove, Queensland
Lake Bonavista Soccer is a developmental program. No scores or standings are kept. Coaches are to use positive motivation to teach the basic rules of the game: no hands, tripping, pushing or hitting; good sportsmanship; concept of the field and its boundaries; concepts of "our goal" and "their goal"; concepts of "attacking" and "defending". Encourage parental involvement.
Lake Bonavista Basketball focuses on having fun while improving skills. These are fun, non-competitive courses that generally span 17 classes.

The Lake Bonavista Figure Skating Club offers skating programs sanctioned by Skate Canada in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, including a pre-school Learn to Skate, CanSkate, Junior Prep, Group STARSkate, STARSkate and CompetitiveSkate and an Adult Skate program.
Skate Canada Skating Programs are designed to allow individuals to participate in skating for life. Our programs provide participants with basic skating skills, advanced figure skating techniques, test and competitive opportunities, awards and incentives and the chance to learn new skills in a fun and positive environment.
Public Skating is offered at various times during the week.
LBCA offers a variety of fitness programs ranging from yoga, aerobics, strength training and conditioning.
Red Cross Babysitter Courses cover the responsibilities of a babysitter and what to do in case of an emergency. Basic first-aid is also covered. Each student will receive a Red Cross babysitter's manual, babysitter's first aid kit, and a Red Cross Babysitter's completion card.
Tumble Time is a drop-in parent supervised program aimed for children under the age of 6. There are bouncy castles and balls galore. Come for one day or come for them all! No registration required.
Preschool programs are geared towards both physical and educational learning.
Youth and family drop-in times. Come drop in for Basketball, volleyball, or soccer - you choose!
